'12 Trader Joe's Reserve Carignane
2012 Trader Joe’s Reserve, Paso Robles, Carignane, Lot# 104 ($9.99, and alcohol level 13.5%). This wine is produced and bottled by Castoro Cellars with grapes certified organic by CCOF. It is a bold and rustic wine with black cherries and blackberries on the nose and upfront, it’s smooth with some noticeable oak in the middle, and finishes amazingly for such a young and inexpensive wine.

We matched it with broiled tenderloin steaks in bacon rasher, baked sweet potatoes, and Italian green beans. Yum!
