hey there Dc and welcome to the board. You cunn't of had a fren' that was born in one of them "off" yars. 61, do be A GREAT year for Bordeaux, so lots of money. In today's market IMHO the two best values ( If the mention of money don' be a great deterrent) of the great 69 vintage are the Grauad-Larose , which I love and the L'Evangile. Both of these lil' buggers have withstood the ravages of time, travel, and tribulation.The Grauad is around 395 and if you're lucky you can find the L'Ev at under 300. Had this marvelous Pomerol in December with my 2 Grand-Daughters, a gran'-son, 3 some-thin-in-law-types an a couple of hangers-on that I still done' recoginize. WW
