RE: Christmas Wines.
We have to do two dinners because half the family is coming on Christmas Eve and the rest on Christmas. We have to leave for church at 5 pm on Christmas Eve, so have to be reasonably sober at that point. Thinking that four of us will share one bottle with beef tenderloin en croute. On Christmas we don't have to go anywhere and we are serving ham.

SO! I'm thinking 2007 Pessagno, Lucia Highlands Vineyard, Pinot Noir with the tenderloin and a couple of bottles of Knapp Finger Lakes Merlot with the ham.

Any other suggestions?
