Howdy WinoWeenie, thanks for your reply . I went over to popswines.com and typed in "Musygny" and got nothing..Then I typed in "Musigny" and got 6 different varieties (4 were already 'sold out'). The two that remained were vintage 1998 & 1999. I think the Musygny my friend had was Italian (I could be wrong), the one on the website looks to be French. I'm not sure if the spelling alone means that it's a different wine, but do doubt that it's the same thing he had back in the good ol' days. The bottle he had was vintage 1969. Also, I went down to Spec's (Houston, Texas) and they had a bottle vintage 1973 going for about $300. I have read good thing about the "Musigny" being a really good wine, I might go ahead and order a couple of bottles from popswines.com and try 'em out. Thanks for the info..
