Hi,
I'm fairly new to all this oenophelia and recently purchased a 30 bottle kenwood wine cellar/fridge.
2 questions:
I have thermometer/humidity readers at the top and bottom... there's about a 9 degree differential. Is 60 at the top (red) and 51 at the bottom (white--->bubbly) about as good as i can get? and are these marks going to work for me? I do have some bottles I'll want to be hanging on to for some time (a nice chataneuf and couple of burgs at the top, and an '01 Suduiraut Sauternes and 96 Dom the bottom)
Also, the humidity is around 40%. i know 60% is better, but is 40 adequate? should i try adding a water tray at the bottom and making sure it stays full?
Any opinions are appreciated.
Thanks!
