Chris, you really need to quantify your current conditions.... that means measuring the relative humidity (RH) of your current storage. I highly recommend using a widget from Radio Shack, cat. #63-1013 Temperature and Humidity Gauge, to measure your unit's RH. I use three of those gadgets and swear by 'em.... battery-powered, roughly the size of a deck of playing cards, they not only provide current measurements but also last noted minimum and maximum values. About $25 per. If your local Shack doesn't stock them, you might have to order them.... well worth the trouble. <P>Once you've determined your unit's exact conditions, you can work out a way to modify the environment, if that seems necessary. But I suggest you first measure what you've got before trying to tinker with it.
