I wouldn't expect to see mold on bottles stored in a EuroCave, unless they were covered with it when placed in storage. The manufacturer recommends emptying and cleaning annually; mine is about 16 months old, and I haven't done that yet, but haven't found any mold, either. But I have sliding redwood shelves throughout, so there's no stacking (except on the very bottom, and those are Champagnes in individual cartons).<BR>You can wipe them down with a wet paper towel, then pat dry with a dry one; or wipe down with vinegar, and pat dry. I've done both to wines stored in my old storm cellar, but the mold returns in a few months. I've heard that a lady's odorless hair spray can be used to coat the labels as a preservative, but haven't tried that, being leery of somehow contaminating the wines.
