2008 Cypher Winery Anarchy

This has to be one of my favorite wines. IT is a completely unconventional blend of Zinfandel, Syrah, and Mourvedre. If you are familiar with Prisoner, then meet its Parent. Paso Zin is the back bone of this wine - huge fruit and spice, Mourvedre brings the French funk, and Syrah brings the sex. Killer. They used to be Four Vines Winery, but The orginal owners have sold the name and continue to make wine under the new name Cypher Winery. Christian, the winemaker, has gone from making 100,000 cases of pretty awesome wine to 10,000 cases - this can only mean more incredible things for quality. I almost forgot... the bottle.... a massive anarchy sign screen printed on the bottle makes this a perfect bottle for any family holiday - if your family likes sex, drugs, and rock-and-roll. All in all, great wine, fun package, and un-pretentious attitude. Love it.
