TN: 1996 Talbott Sleepy Hollow

That said, I have been impressed with the Talbott lineup in the past and gave this bottle a try.
Wonderful wine. Nose of banana and tropical fruits; bracing acidity on this wine which shows banana, lemon peel and pineapple. Has terrific presence on the palate and a great finish. Worked well with steamed mussels in tomato and white wine broth. Would never be mistaken for a Burgundy, but is an excellent example of Cal. chard. A-
