We are conducting a wine tasting and dinner to raise money for ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease) research. The Eleanor Roosevelt Institute in Denver has been doing some ground-breaking research we wish to support. We have been given a magnum of 1874 Chateau Lafitte Rothchild from the cellar of the Duke of Braanespath. The bottle has the Duke's seal in the glass and there is a remnant of the lead seal stamped 1874. The cork is somewhat dry and the wine has evaporated beneath the neck of the bottle. The bottle was purchased in a Sotheby acution some years ago. Any idea as to what it is worth?
