Talked to Verne a number of times the past few days. He was reveling in the wonderful weather in San Diego. I guess he called CB and told her to catch the first flight she could and get out there, mainly to get out of the 100+ heat they've had the past two weeks. However, a lucrative job came her way so she won't be getting out to be with the Weener. Just a few minutes ago, he called again and said he was sitting out enjoying the weather as well as the Dehlinger (I think) PN he was sipping. Such is the life of an itinerant rug merchant.

Was too lonely wifout CB so the doorknob hit me in the ...on the way back home. Can't believe the change in temp. Left at a sultry 14 days of 100* plus and came back to 74*. I musta drove so fast I pulled the weather from San D behind me. Hope all are having a great holiday. WW
