.... for my little one. He is having minor surgery in the morning. Having his tonsils and adnoids out; thankfully, it is now outpatient surgery. He is a strong child- in body and mind and should do just fine. (He had walking pneumonia and double acute ear infections that have cleared about 5 days prior to surgery. Beleive it or not, you never could have known he had the pneumonia!) Thanks everyone!! Love you Dad=)

Let's hope they take his adenoids out and not his adnoids, otherwise he'll end up looking like WW.

Best luck on the surgery -- and have plenty of ice cream at home.

Prayer has been said. I'm sure he'll do fine. I had mine out when I was six and all I recall was the jello and ice cream.

God bless & protect your sweet little boy. Surgery is never fun. And it can't be easy to see your child in pain. But if you can stay very very close by, he will be comforted... And before you know it, he'll running circles around you again.

J.

He's doing very well... right now. We were at the hospital for about 5 hours; he came out of the sleep with out any problems. He's actually been begging to eat since he came home. A little bit of Jello, ice cream and ice chips didn't do the trick!! I ended up give him 1/2 cubes of sandwich bread with butter melted from the oven, and apple juice with tons of ice.

Thanks everyone=)

CG Glad everything went well. Nothing worries a person more than when their is something that is impacting their children. Maybe you'll get to try all the flavours that Jello offers

he's doing great! wierd, he's not thrilled with jello, popsicles or any ice cream.

interesting menu of easy mac, soupy mashed potatoes, pancakes and pudding. he's eating and it's wonderful! and tons of apple juice and ice

now to just make him beleive he's not invincible! i do believe it's the codeine, though.

thanks for the well wishes everyone=)
