I was lucky enough to be allowed to purchase some bottles of 1960, 64 & 65 port the bottle has his name on it as Selector Kirby Atterbury
produced, bottled & shipped by
Butler, Nephew & Co.
Vila Nova De Gaia
established 1730
imported by Chrissa Imports LTD
Main label reads
Vintage 1960
Vinho do Porto
The port is to die for and i have had no other port that even comes close to tasting like it, vanilla cream, orange marmalade, butterscotch, velvetly on the finish which last for minutes on end coats your tongue just right not to sweet and buttery but smooth and silky
I would like to get as much information as i can cause i will be doing a tasting presentation on it this December. yes my employer will be selling some of the collection but i highly doubt they will move due to the price, Once again lucky me,
anywayI've tried Chrissa Imports but no Luck , I've tried numerous wine ezines and all the search engines, and had no luck this is my last ditch effort to locate some info on it, If anyone is in the California Bay Area your welcome to come to the tasting. Any direction would be greatly appreciated

Hi Call and welcome to the board. I'm stumped. Never heard of the house, shipper or importer. Musta' been a special bottling for a wholesaler. All of the major port houses have offerings from those years ranging retail from 125 to 195. Too bad there'as not some 63s' in there. Killer vintage. WW

Butler, Nephew have been around, as the label says, since 1730. They're a fairly minor house, but their ports are of good quality. K&L had their 1960 for $109, but they're out of it now. Bern's in Tampa has the 1960, 1963, 1967 and 1970 in their cellar. If you can't find any info locally, you might try going to their site and contacting their sommelier.
