I have always been a huge fan of the Elyse Morisoli Zinfandel. The 2000 was my first and all time favorite vintage. I am finally down to two bottles and have been searching everywhere for more. Well, I finally found one store in Flordia that has some left. The trouble is they don't ship out of state. However, lucky me, I have a freind who is going down for a vacation in a week and would be happy to pick it up for me. My question is, do you all think the airline will allow him to check the case and save me the shipping or will I have to have him ship it FedEx to me. It sure would save me some money if he could just bring it back. I've seen people picking up boxes from the baggage claim, but being that it is wine, will they let him? Thoughts?

I've checked cases of wine as baggage multiple times, no problem.
