in Paris with Kenny Barron on piano. Had to do a double take as I thought the piano picker was Bill Evans. Didn't realize Kenny played this tastefully. Great album! Brung a smile to the Weeners creased ole kisser. WW

Your in Paris? Jealous...I love that place! If you get a chance, go to Laduree. Their pastries are "memorable"!

Engineer, if ww is in Paris he is listening to Stan Getz in a mortuary--the man died a few years back.

I think ww is listening to a CD, and a fine one at that. Getz was a super star in my book.

I can't stop listening to the remastered Getz-Gilberto recordings.

Speaking of Gilberto, his daughter Bebel has a beautiful voice.

right with you ww- Stan Getz is my favorite!! Have his classic stuff as well as some tribute covers. Lost one of my favorites when the boss' truck was broken into a few years ago called "Hot Sax" and haven't been able to replace it. Haven't found another artisit who comes close. Thank heaven for musical recordings so that we haven't lost the talents of people like this. WD

As the great Cannonball Adderly said of Stan " We'd all have Stans' tone if we could " WW By the way WD what tunes were on the CD. I think I have every CD Stan released so I could probably burn you a copy.

To the specific " NO ". The following are my Getz CDs; The Cool Sounds, Getz/Gilberto, With European Friends, Serenity, Getz meets Joabin, Getz for Lovers, The Song is You, Plays Bacarah & David, Meets Mulligan, At Cafe Montmartre, Bluenight, Reflections, Getz meets Chet.
