The 1st Swiss man in history to win a major tenny tournament and convuincingly over a formidable apponent. This youngster has had my eye for over 5 years and is like a new, improved version of the great Australian player, Cash.....No Buckster NOT Johnny, but Pat. Both move like silk, run down everthing, and are drop-dead good-looking, but Roger returns better than Pat did. Not the best finals I've ever witnessed but certainly showcased the 2 best behaved, talented, and true nice guys any-one could possible hope to watch. Not ONE disputed call in 3 hard-played sets. Should be shown at every tennis camp in the world, 'specially Nick Bolliteris' in Florida. WW

I actually found the finals boring....all serves and little volleys. I think tennis has to look at equipment like the PGA and Royal and Ancient are in golf.

Agree in full Drew but when you're 6'4" with lead weights in both feet it's imperative you serve bombs. Federer is so derned competent it looks like he's not working hard.WW
