The reason for my terse and unsympathetic post on 9/22 was that this was the only active thread on this board while wineloverspage was humming away.

IK- the mrrowww was directed to the exchange after yours- Auburn and WW. I guess we all need to be silly once in a while- or even more frequently! haven't checked that site- usually too busy taking notes here. Will take a look. WD

I sure didn't have any trouble seein' the claws in that growl. Yikes!

Just to keep this wine-related: winewinewine.

WOW! Where have I been to have missed all this.

Auburn, the reason for WW's syntax is that the man never learned how to spell...he really is harmless.

IK, I went to winelovers.com once--found navigating it way too much for my short attention span. Am I doing something wrong or is it purposely cumbersome?

The same here. Took far too long for any rhyme or reason. Not as snobbish as WCWN tho. WW

Some of the people who have been observed posting at WLDG include: Bucko, Winoweenie. WOW, Hotwine, and that pesky Innkeeper. In order to spot them, you have to know their real names.

I haven't been counting but as far as I can remember I've posted on the site 3 to 5 times. I found with the format you have no continuity. Haven't even been there in 3-4 weeks. WW

Drewski also stops by, when he's not roundin' up outlaws.

I too prefer this bunch of miscreants.

WD, a de-clawed female is about as harmless as a de-horned bull - he may not be able to stick you, but he can still stomp you down to ant-size.

Yep, I have posted there a few times but I prefer this site. I take Winoweenie's syntax to be poking fun at Okies (his own origins) and that's okey-dokey with me. I don't see anything racial in it.

Gee, Hotwine, you found me out ! It's nice to talk to a knowledgeable bunch who don't treat you as an inferior about wines. WD
