Taking CB to our favorite beach hide-a-way on the Sea of Cortez for a week. Play nice, no biting in the clinches and I'll call if I get work. WW

WD, I was just continuing Drew's theme from "Cool Hand Luke". It's probably just as well that the meaning behind "Shakin' it now, boss" didn't come through....

WD,

That line's probably in the top ten of the all time classic movie lines.

Sorry 'bout that, WD. Your line was indeed from the same flick (which dawned on me only belatedly - typical of geezerhood).

what astounded me is that my small hint was soundly understood...at least by Drew, the rest was a good following...now, what was this all about anyway?

Maybe I'm a little sensitive, but could we do without the Stepin Fetchet imitation?

Well Auburnwine ole' bean, please accept my humble apologies but I've been writing with the same amount of mis-spellings. typos, and irreverances' for over 50 years. As far as an imitation, my friend , I can assure you NOONE has ever accused me of imitating anything, much less a talented dancer that propagated racial outlines for Hollywood long before you were born. As I grew up in Shawnee, Oklahoma I've lived first hand the prejudiced, small minded southern lifestyle. I'm not coming down on your post, only the fact that like the southern mind-set, you assume I'm poking fun at a segment of our population rather than myself. After owning a business in Georgia for over 35 years I've come to have far too much disdain for the red-necks of our society to associate with any of their ideals. As my chillins' say....Lighten up Dad. WW
