I am looking far and wide to replace my supply of my favorite beer with no hope in site. It is Dogfish Head Worldwide stout and is renowned in beer circles as one of the few 100 pointers out there. It is my personal favorite and is gone everywhere I look until its release in November. If anyone sees it in their local shop, could you kindly let me know??? TIA.

I've never even heard of it, much less seen it. But then I rarely drink beer, and if I do, it is usually Alaskan Amber.

Same here, only my preferred once-in-a-while brew is Dos Equis Amber.

We carry the whole Dogfish Head line, GAD. Unfortunately, don't have the Worldwide at the moment, because it's very limited and is released on November 1. If you come around in about 8 weeks, you can get some.

Already checked with your shop KC. I was hoping there was some left. I cleared out T&V a while back. BTW, for those who aren't fermiliar, this is no regular beer. 18% ABV and tastes like pure heaven. Black as night and perfect.

The thing of it is, you can't taste the alc. You do however get chocholate, mocha, and roasted almonds for your trouble. It is a sipping beer if there was ever one.

Yes they do. This is their best one IMHO, but all there beers are quite special. I found them by accident when traveling through DE. I needed a bite to eat and went into this brewpub I had never heard of. After that I was hooked. Their IPA's are some of the best I've had but beware of the 120 minute version. Just one of these will send you to bed early. (Even stronger than the Worldwide Stout.) Like with wine, I think it's great to find something you really enjoy and only later on find out that it is very highly rated. Finding this brewery also helped me to understand that Sam Adam's is the Yellow Tail of the beer industry.
