Fundraiser

Hi friends. I'm new to this forum, and hope one of you can point me in the right direction. Our non-profit foundation in San Diego would like to plan a gala winetasting fundraiser event, and would like to have some wines donated, or if possible have some wineries help us with the tastings. Never planned one of these before, so I am starting at ground zero. Any advice as to where to start? Thanks in advance.

At the risk of sounding negative or even cynical but actually just being pragmatic, since September 11 we and every other producer, importer, wholesaler and retailer of wines have been completely tapped out re donations to the extent that we may not be able to do some of our longstanding annual events.

Your only hope is going to be the largest industrial wineries. Good luck,
