Well at this point they're going down the drain -- self-sacrifice.

Going....going.....gone. Four turnovers can certainly limit a team's chances to score.

I was surprised that the game wasn't even close! What is scary is that most of USC starters will be back next year possibly including the quarterback.

The Texas-Michigan game in the Rose Bowl was much more exciting to watch although I was disappointed in the outcome of that one too. Normally I would root for the Big Twelve team (since I attended Nebraska) but I did my Master's at Michigan so I really wanted them to win. It looked like they had won until Texas came back in the final seconds. The commentators last night mentioned that Braylon Edwards of Michigan was one of the top two college receivers this year.

The Rose Bowl was great, but I think the best bowl was the Capital One Bowl -- Iowa's 56-yard game-winning, TD pass as time expired.

USC could be really scary next year. They should try to schedule a game against the 49ers.

I loved the Rose Bowl best of all the games. What a wild last few minutes ...
