need help all!

A non drinking family who knows my interest in all things wine and beer has asked me a favor as the family "expert." I thought it would be easy, but two weeks later I am still coming up empty. What I need to find is an Australian Bitter. Brand unimportant. Her husband went there many years ago and is always talking about how he has never been able to find anything like it in the states. Does anyone know of any shop anywhere that sells any brand of Australian Bitter?

Total is a chain that has stores over much of the eastern seabord (although not New England). At the Cherry Hill, NJ store they sell something called "Special Bitters." It's made by Fosters and comes in 24 ounce cans. $2.49 a can, $22.99 a case (of 12 I assume). Their list of stores is at:

They only have their wine inventory online though, no beer.

I checked all the distributors in the Massachusetts Beverage Journal - no mean feat. The only Australian bitter available in MA is Fosters. One of the managers thought we could get Victoria Bitters (known as VB the world round, except in MA), but he was mistaken. Sorry, dude, cause I wanted to try it, too. The only option I can think of is to find an online etailer that will ship.
