John Pizzarellas' "Lets Share Xmas". This King Cole sound-alike makes you smile and tap the tootsies to the regular array of Xmas songs whils embellishing them dudes with some great guitar background music. If you like jazz this guys a winner. WW

Thanks for the tip.
Some tv critic (maybe on CNN?) was suggesting CD purchases for Christmas with snatches of music from each. Two that intrigued me and that I will probably purchase were "Blue Alert" from Anjani with songs derived from Leonard Cohen lyrics and Anjani's composition and either "Put Your Records On" or "Corinne Bailey Rae" by Corinne Bailey Rae. Corinne is being compared to Billie Holiday.

Baby, It's Cold Ouside / Jane Moneit & Steve Tyrell
The Merriest / June Christy
Happy Holiday / Peggy Lee
Jingle Bells / James Taylor
Do You Hear What I Hear? / Mahalia Jackson

IK, that's so sweet of your DD!

I have a new Christmas CD (James Taylor, I believe) and one of my favs is "Baby, It's Cold Outside" - it's such an accurate portrayal of DH and I dating!!! lol
