Turned in my column for June about chillable reds. I mentioned about twelve, altogether, including the Lost Mountain Cab Franc, several Spanish Tempranillos (Finca Antigua, Conde Valdemar Tinto, etc.) and Grenaches like Vina Alarba, Pruntto "Fiulot" Barbera, Mattei Barbera, Promessa Rosso Salento and Negroamaro, Valle dell Asso Negroamaro, Loire Cab Francs, and the bottle of Rosemount Grenache/Shiraz I had chilled last Friday that was beautiful cool.

A friend suggested I try the Col. Crest Two Vines Merlot, which I'll do soon. Also, from herebabouts, tried the Kiona and Mt. Baker Lembergers, both of which, as the kids say, rocked.

Any favorites from youse guys? I'm hooked now and gearing up for our whole five days of summer in the NW!

I chill some Gamay or Pinot Noir plus the rose' wines. I also sometimes mix my own Sangria with sliced or diced fruit in the pitcher. I've been drinking mostly German Riesling the last two weeks.
