HI, i want to know what is a good red wine to have. without food. I am entertaining some guests and i want some good red wine. I really wont be serving food. just mainly wine. thank you

Guess you mean something you can bring home and pop. If you can find a nice California Barbera, e.g. Easton; or Central Coast or Northwest Syrah; either would fill your bill.
