wine from 1976

hello, can anybody please tell me more about two bottles of wine I have La-Fourvieille 1976 and caves maxim's de paris Sauternes any information about these wines would be much appreciated

This is not a front-running house, maybe a B or C winery. I believe 30+ years may be over the top for this house. The only way to know is to pull a cork.

Hi Treet and add mywelcome to the board. As the mighty Dr. stated these are not collectible houses therefore there isn't any value and the wine is probably long-dead soldiers. Sorry. WW

Speaking of 1976, does anyone know if Joseph Heitz Martha's Vineyard 1976 Cabernet is still good and if so, does it have collectible value?

I don't know if it is still good and if it is to be storage has got to be perfect (in temperature and humidity controlled space). JJBuckley's has it listed for $199 a bottle but again, storage will be a big difference.
