Hello, I have a little dilemna about purchasing the right wine. I am getting this wine as a wedding gift to go along with a tin full of German cookies. I talked with a sales clerk at one of the wine and spirits shoppes and she told me to ask you for any assistance. She also told me about Reisling variety. Is she correct and I would like some additional responses.

Hi Evif, and welcome to the Wine Board. Good advice. Would go with a Spatlese from the Rhinegau or an Auslese from M-S-R.
