I live in Lubbock, Texas, USA. I was curious about whether or not the price of wine was ok. I went ahead and bought this bottle becuase it seemed like a good deal, and I just don't know about prices. I purchased a 1.5L bottle of Ste Genevieve Merlot (red). It was bottled and cellared by Cordier Estates, Inc. in Fort Stockton, Texas. Hmmmm There isn't a date on this so ... I dont know when it was bottled. I paid $8.50 for it. Did I make a good buy or pay too much... or was it so-so? I bought it to drink... not save. I have enjoyed this bottle. I am not a wine connoisseur so I'm not sure if it was really a good bottle of wine, but to me it tasted GREAT. So, any suggestions would be welcome.
Also, if it is not too much trouble, please tell me what price a comprable bottle(of size etc) in a place like Dallas,Austin, or Houston, Texas might be that would be a good price to pay. Thanks so much!

I'd say if you got a 1.5L bottle of a wine that you enjoyed for only $8.50, ya did alright!
