I found a very nice 1995 Cabernet (Christophe). And bought 2 cases from the distributer who sold to me for quite cheap, because he says it won't last much longer. do you think I can hang onto it long enough to give out for Holiday gifts in December? (I last had a bottle last week, and it was wonderful. I bought that from a restaurant.

Christophe is not a major wine, and there is plenty of it produced--I wouldn't worry about there not being enough to buy; maybe not enough of that vintage. In fact, for that kind of wine, 8 years in the bottle is pressing your luck that it will last much longer.

Hi Cmansmom and welcome to the board. If you have a cool, daark spot (like a basement) there should be no problem holding it for another 3 months. Make sure it isn't near any heat source. WW
