HI GUYS.I HAVE DRY RED-WINE EVERY 2ND DAY AND THAT TOO ONLY 60ML.I HAVE HEARD THAT WINE BECOMES A LITTLE SOUR TO TASTE IF KEPT FOR SOMETIME IN BOTTLES THAT HAS BEEN OPENED.THEN IS IT ADVISABLE TO EMPTY A 750ML BOTTLE OF WINE INTO 60MLS BOTTLE OF RUM BOTTLES TIGHTLY CAPPED AND STORED AND CONSUME IT AS AND WHEN REQUIRED.SINCE I AM A NOVICE,KINDLY SUGGEST.

Hi Mangal and welcome to the board. If your consumption is that small your idea of using the 60ml bottles will probably work. I'm kinda stuck as it's hard for me to picture 60ml. That sounds like one mouthfull. WW

If 60 ml works for you that's fine. You have the right idea; deprive the wine from prolonged exposure to oxygen. Prolonged means more than a few minutes. I drink 375 ml at a sitting, so I use what is refered to as a "half bottle" to store the other 375 ml.

WW, 60 mls is four tablespoons -- just about enough to rinse that old leather tongue of yours.
