i was told that swirlling a glass of red wine in different directions causes the aroma to change. is this true?

Ain't this a repeat of a previous posting?

Of course, I could be bass ackwards on this one! OH now I remember. The thread I was thinking about had to do with swirling the glass with either the right hand or the left.

But would that not be the same as swirling from the right or the left. Am I confused?
