I would like suggestions on white wine to go with grilled lobster in garlic marinade

For further info, I dont like sweet or too sour white wines

Hi Haffimar and welcome to the Wine Board. Look for a full bodied "unwooded" Chardonnay. Lacking one of those, look for a dry Reisling such as one from Alsace, or a full bodied Sauvignon Blanc such as a Sancerre from the Loire Valley of France. A final choice would be a White Bordeaux. You should not find any of these sweet or sour.

Haffimar,

Just so you know, you should never find any wine to be sour. That would mean the wine has gone bad--think old milk.

What you likely mean to say either is "tart," or "bitter," two counterbalances to "sweet" in wine.
