Hi, I found the following two wines in a store: 1) 750ml, 1998 Saint-Joseph La Source Ferraton Pere et Fils; $36.99. 2) 750ml, 1998 Crozes-Ermitage Le Grand Courtil Ferraton Pere & Fils; $41.99. Are they worth the money? Do you think the price is reasonable? Do you think they are good for collection? Are they Shiraz from Rhone? Has anyone tasted them? If so, how do you like them?

Hi Itian, and welcome to the Wine Board. I think the St Joseph will go 2-5 more years in good storage. The Crozes-Hermitage should be consumed soon.

Check the prices against Chambers Street. If that is where they are from, they are fair prices.
