05 Loring

I've just read every post on a search using "Loring" and I think maybe I'm going to have to open a clos pepe this weekend, unless you talk me out of it! I've never tried it and the anticipation is killing me. I noticed several others leaving positive notes on bottles only 3 years from vintage, so while maybe still an infant this should be nearly ready.? I've read "splash decant", I presume this is merely a fast dump into the decanter.

Also, anyone have an idea when the spring mailer may ship. I feel like a kid waiting to open Christmas presents, (that I can't play with for a few years). WP
