Welcome to the board, ubondy.
Sounds like a very nice gift. The Perrier-Jouet website is very artistic but took too long to download for my patience:
www.perrier-jouet.com

I also found this with prices:
http://www.queenannewine.com/perjouetcham.html but it seems to represent non-vintage Champagne and I think your 1988 vintage Belle Epoque may be worth more. The history of the house seems to go back to 1811 and their Champagne was sold in the United States as early as 1837.
Hope some Champagne experts will chime in with more but that second website I furnished has a little history.

ww, aren't those prices for NV gift sets? I have a couple bottles of Belle Epoque '99 that I stole for $135 ea. I've seen averages just over $200 for the '99 juice (the '99 is a BdB, maybe earlier vints are different). Those prices are for single bottles wrapped in celophane. No glasses or gift box.

We had a customer in just before Christmas who bought ten cases as gifts for her employees. She also bought 12 cases of Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label for their Holiday party.

BTW, a case of the PJ holds three boxes.

thanks for the info, now all i have to do is figure out what it's worth and sell it. I can't seem to find any info on the 1988 vintage. We are moving and down sizing so i will no longer have a wine cellar (oh no!!!)
