Another question: if "premier selection" is written on the label - can this be done just for advertising or is this something which must be prooved by the producer (and how)?

Sounds like blarney to me. Reserves', Private Selection, or Special Selection is normally what most winemakers use to designate their top juice. WW

Phrases like the above, in the U.S. and in much of New World wine production, are relatively meaningless with respect to government controls toward quality and truth.
