Hello to Everyone!
I am new to WineBoard so if anyone has good advise on some tasty wines, I am all ears..Prefer the reds. I actually love the Australian wine called "Yellow Tail" Merlot. Has anyone tried this and whats there thought? Any other wines that taste similar to this?
Many thanks, Tammy

Hi Littlefool and welcome to the Wine Board. That is not a bad point of reference. You could broaden your perspective in two ways. First you could try other Yellow Tail wines to see if it is their style or the merlot that attacts you. It could be both. Second try other Australian Merlots at the same price point. That will allow you to establish a firm reference in your mind. Then try other reds such as cabernet/merlot blends, cabernets, cabernet/shiraz blends, and shiraz'. Then compare Australian wines to American, South American, and South Aftrican wines. That will more or less finish exploration of the New World. Then try wines from European (Old World) regions that are made from the same grapes you enjoy in New World Wine.
