Need a dessert wine for an apple mascarpone parfait

I am searching for a dessert wine to go with an Apple Mascarpone parfait for an upcoming dinner party. Can anyone help. Thanks in advance. kbe

Welcome to the board, KB. You could probably find a Sauternes that would pair nicely with the parfait, but it could get VERY expensive trying enough of them to find the perfect match. I'd chicken out and default to a Champagne, one that wouldn't crash into the dessert; suggest Taittinger NV Brut.
