Hi SH, and welcome to the Wine Board. White Grenache is an example of wine styles coming full circle. Years ago Grenache, a red grape, was widely used to make rose' wines. There are still reputable versions of Grenache Rose' around such as that by McDowell Valley Vineyard. The term "white" associated with red grapes came about a couple of decades ago when "White Zinfandel" was first marketed. These wines are whiter than rose's but still a little pink, and are thusly referred to as "blushes."

Recommend you look for some Grenache Rose', and see if like it.
