Missing posts in "Novice"

Jackie, the entire history of the world...I mean the Novice postings .... are all gone. FYI.

I have no idea what happened. However I was able to recover almost all of the postings. A few topics posted between the 14th and 17th of this month are not showing up. They are not lost however, and I may still be able to get them to show up.

Fixing this requires shutting down the board. I had to shut it down for a couple of hours today in order to recover this forum and over 3500 topics!!! I will leave it at that for the moment and try to fix the other missing files at a more convenient time.

I'm on record as saying I didn't do it!!! I was falsely accused of removing a post on another board, and I'll duke it out with anyone who says I did -- 16 ounce glasses at twenty paces!!!

Thanks for the thakns! It was a challenge. I had to manually edit several files... all the while still hoping they would run.

I was lucky. Thger's still a little more to do but it's nice to know someone appreciates it.
