I decided to take a weekend trip away from the busy city life in San Francisco and head out to Wine Country (to relax and plus I'm a wino for sure ... I found the hotel prices in Sonoma and Napa were outrageous... maybe it was high tourist season or something. I decided to stay at a brand new Hampton Inn & Suites in the town of Rohnert Park for a reasonable price. Wow what a smart move on my part!!! It was so centrally located to everything I wanted to visit, a quick drive to the Russian River wineries, Beautiful Bodega Bay, and the friendly staff even directed me to the Armstrong redwood forest just a bit north to get out and hike around. Talk about relaxing. The Hampton also included breakfast and wireless internet... which gave me more wine buying dollars!! I highly recommend the Hampton Inn and won't stay anywhere else when I travel to that area.
Just thought I would share my wonderful experience!
