As the label indicates, a nice combo of both the Northern Rhone and Ausi styles. The bottle had the big fruit of an Ausi and the complexity and structure of a Frenchie. I was expecting much less after reading the pitifull review by the speculator. I'm glad they were wrong!! Beautiful wine.

I still have a bottle of the 2000 Syrah which was their first vintage. Was rated much higher. We will see this turkey day.
