2003 l'hiver Saisons des vins syrah

Mostly I remember a deep purple color and a peppery berry taste. I enjoyed this one. 14.1% ABV I think I paid around $16-$18 for it.

Pepper and berries are characteristic traits in Syrah so it sounds like your taster is right on target Georgie.

Not exactly. It was Teach and Teach alone drinking this one since her dinner date doesn't drink wine! (But I'm working on him...we're up to Riunite at this point!)

I sure hope you HE'S up to Riunite. I'd hate to think you were regressing back to that far.

Not to worry...if I don't buy him a bottle of that sweet stuff, I can usually get him to drink a wine cooler made with a little decent wine and some 7-Up. Either that or he's perfectly content with a beer. More good wine for me! Like I said, he's a work in progress.
