Another in the weeners search for Thanksgivingm juice and also for red for gifting. This lil' dude from Peterson Winery in Sonoma is a blend of 82% Carignane,6% Petite Sirah, 6% Syrah, and 6% Zin. Nice brite ruby, slight nose ar first but opened to show a spicy, meaty, berry nose. All came over on the palate. A very nice food wine thats' only shorty is a clipped finish. Definately in the running at 13 per clatter. No alc on bottle but seemed within reason. WW

WW, See if your pusher can get some Snafu Red for you to try. Here's the rundown on what's inside the bottle. Runs about $15.

42% Petite Sirah
34% from Sacramento River Delta, cobbly clay/loam between the towns of Elk Grove
and Galt. 4% from Mendocino’s Redwood Valley, sandy loam on heavy clay subsoils.
4% from Monterey County, clay/loam on fractured rock subsoils a few miles northeast of Soledad.
33% Cab Sauvignon
31% from Lake County, near Kelseyville, gravelly clay soils; 2% from Paso Robles, east of town, sandy clay and limestone soils.
8% Merlot
From a vineyard south of Soledad, alluvial, rocky soils.
8% Syrah
6% from Sonoma County, Knights Valley, mixed fractured rock in volcanic soils; 2%
from Monterey County, loamy alluvial soils.
6% Zinfandel
All from Amador County, near Plymouth. Silt/clay with small amount of cobbles, rocky subsoil.
3% Petite Verdot
All from Lake County, above Clear Lake. Gravel and clay with volcanic subsoils.

Holy Moly KC there's more numbers there than on the business page of me local paper. Looks like there's 191% grapes in that hummer. WW

Bought a box of this killer juice and made some Dreamfields Angel Hair last nite with marinara and artichokes and it went together like Bartles & James. Taking it, the Tilia and the Hope to Mexico Tuesday along with some SW for me lovely CB. WW
