Hi BN, and welcome to the Wine Board. Would go with a Chateauneuf Du Pape. Be sure to ask your purveyor for an approachable one. Many have to given a decade's rest to be so.

Ty, is the pork pie spicy as in hot or as in spices in the ingredients and if so, what spices?

Drew. The pork pie is not Hot. I guess I should'nt have said it was too spicy, Its more Flavorful with a little zing in it. I really like hot and spicy food, I wouldn't classify it in that catagory.
