A total blockbuster and the wine of the day for Mother's day dinner. Full of brite sweet red currant and raspberries with a finish that lasted nearly a minute. This bottle has been a winner in each of it's few vintages and I actually prefer it over their regular mostly cab bottling. If you see it, pick one up for a special occasion. There isn't much out there though. 58% percent Petit Verdot, 34% Cab Sauv, and 8% Cab Franc. I'm on the lookout for the 02 now. The 01 went down the hatch last fall.

I know the memory's the 2nd thing to go but I was positive I'd posted on this sucker's 2001 model back in Jan or Feb. but couldn't find it. It is, as stated, a killer bottle of juice, but IMHO I still love the regular Cab&Cab franc after they get some whiskers. Will see how this blend does on the ageing. WW

I just visited the winery website and was shocked to see the price just jumped again to $100. I think this might mean I'm out.
