Not quite as abundant as one might expect. Rather bland and boring with a metallic componant that really kills what little there was to start. With the Zin being only $4 more, the decision on which to buy again is simple. The web site describes as below:

"The 2001 ABUNDANTLY RICH RED is a sumptuous layered blend of three Syrahs from the appellations of Paso Robles, Lodi and Arroyo Seco. Next was added Carignane and a bit of Sangiovese to set the stage for great 'bottle bouquet' then finished with Merlot to add another layer of richness."

Another fine example of to not believe everything you see in print GAD. I'd sue for false advertising! WW

Well, I did like their Zin, so I figured why not give it a shot. I really wish there were more tastings around so I could try before I buy. Although, I did just attend a huge tasting with over 200 wines in the under $20 price range. I'm wondering if I'm too picky. Out of the bunch, there were only 2 "must buys." You would be proud of me WW. In the past six months I have not bought 1 wine on WS or RP recommendation alone.
