Had a bowl of chili last nite and opened this big bruiser. Called a " Super Napa " wine by Dan (don't know what the blazes a super napa be) this is a blend of Zinfandel, Merlot, Cabernet, and Cabernet Franc. This puppy has come together quite a bit since my first bottle 4 years ago. Had to find much Merlot in this or for that matter the Cab Franc, but an interesting blend. His first bottling so I'm not sure this was on purpose or throwing a few random barrlels together rather than throwing them out. Probably the first as they commissioned David Huddleston to do the art on the label. A very enjoyable red wine,(but which'n aint?) that stood up to the onions, balsamic vinegar, and tobasco that are rudimentary to my bowls of chilli.
No rating as I washed this down whilst watching the Ducks get de-boned by Wake Forest. WW

The Ducks took a full broadside from a 10 guage pump. I thought they could fly better than that........

Six bowl games today -- something for everyone. We're looking for Washington to pop some boils today (Purdue).

That was a good game! Wash just couldn't get it together, and Purdue was on a roll. Good game. Beat the bejeebers out of anything the pros could offer, that's for sure!

Never let it be said that the weener gloated over someones' misfortune(gasp-
giggle-snort). Our Sun Devils played way over their heads against my CBs' K-Staters. Talk about walking a thin line. WW
