This table wine is a NV blend of 55% Cab Franc, 27% Merlot, and 18% Cab Sauvignon. It's a easy to drink wine that offers aromas of red fruits, flavors of black fruits, and just enough acidity, rustic tannins, and subtle oak on the finish to hold the package together. 12.8% alc. We paid $13 at the winery before a mixed case discount. Good QPR and a nice daily drinker.

For those of you who attended the offline in '05, this is Matt Rawn's place. We met him at CCK's on the Saturday night, and we didn't get to stick around for the Sunday trip to his place that go-round, but we did make it there last summer.

Sounds like a FL Meritage!

Had another bottle on the porch with a few friends while handing out Halloween treats. Mostly red fruits, some prickly spiciness, and a touch of rustic tannins on this go-round. Seemed to be a bit more acidic, too, but not in a bad way -- more like the acidity from a Barbera.
