Am serving beef wellington for a 50th anniversary party on Saturday. Will be accompanied by wild rice and buttered fresh peas/pearl onions. Am looking for any help in selecting a wine.

Hi Els and welcome to the board.I personally like a nice Calif Cabernet with Wellington as it does well with both the Pate and the Beef. Without the Pate some of my friends prefer a big Pinot Noir. WW
